How Yewaura works
A page that tells their story, and a small plaque that brings visitors to it from the grave.
- Create a memorial page. Add their life story, photos and dates. Make it public so anyone can find it, or private for family only.
- Fix a QR plaque to the grave. The weatherproof plaque fixes to the headstone, and you link it to the page the first time you scan it.
- Visitors scan to remember. Anyone at the grave can scan it with their phone to read the story and sign the guestbook, even on private pages.
Public or private, your choice
Public memorial
Anyone can find it by searching for their name or the place they rest, like an encyclopedia page. Good for sharing their story widely and for family history.
Private memorial
Hidden from search and from Google. It opens only by scanning the plaque, with your private link, or with a password you choose.
Historic graves
Anyone can record an old grave: its inscription, location and condition. Visitors can report changes in its condition, so heritage groups and restorers can see which graves need care first. Read about historic graves
