Why we use it
To run your account and memorial pages, to reply to you, and to post plaques you order. We don’t sell your information, show adverts or use tracking cookies.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs: one keeps you logged in, and one remembers that you opened a private memorial.
Who can see what
Public memorials can be seen by anyone and found by search engines. Private memorials can be seen only by people with the plaque, the private link or the password. Your email address is never shown on a memorial.
Where it is kept
Your information is stored with Cloudflare, which runs our website and database.
How long we keep it
We keep memorial pages for as long as they are online. When you delete a memorial or your account, we delete its information. Messages to us are kept for up to two years.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Contact us through our contact form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
